Straight from the kick off Minehead put in a great chase and camped in Burnham's 22 for the first 5 mins, the resulting pressure was rewarded with a penalty which Lewis was unable to convert due to a stiff breeze, however from the restart, Minehead won good ball and Harry with a good run scored the first try, 0 : 5 to Minehead. Another spell of sustained pressure with good driving and some great hands put Lewis through and his strength and determination carried  him over the line giving Minehead their second score, and with a successful conversion from Bradley the score moved on to 0 : 12. Burnham weren't just spectators and applied pressure of their own, which was rewarded with a try. 5 : 12. From the kick off Minehead again put in a good chase but knocked on in the tackle, Burnham broke from the scrum and but for what was probably the best tackle of the match from Ronan they would have scored between the posts. The time given to the forwards from Ronans tackle helped Minehead turn the ball over, and after some good ball through the backs Fred released Harry to run in his second try of the match, 5 : 17 at half time. Burnham started the second half strongly, and ran in a try with a strong run from one of their big lads breaking through two tackles to score in the corner,10 : 17. This got Minehead's dander up and after some very strong forward work, Trevor went on one of his strong maisey runs to score a fantastic try , 10 : 22. Minehead with their ferocious tackling and fantastic team work piled on the pressure forcing Burnham into making errors, from one resulting scrum a great off load from Trevor put Will.H. through and after good running scored in the corner, 10 : 27. Burnham never gave up, and after Shane had made a great run he was well tackled and Burnham applied themselves well, and although Minehead put in some great tackles from Braden, Adam and Fred they got in again to score,15 : 27. Minehead kick on again and were awarded a penalty from which Trevor took a quick tap and ran his second try of the match,15 : 32. Minehead again piled on the pressure from the restart and after more great play Harry ran in his third and Minehead's seventh try of the game, with a successful conversion from Lewis the score moved on to 15 : 39. Minehead were determined to score more points and after a fantastic run from Christian from well within his own half was caught in Burnhams 22 the ball was moved beautifully along the line and Adam wastackled just before the line , Ryan picked up the loose ball but again was caught just before the line, Jordan carried on the attack loosing the ball in the tackle but Bradley picked the ball up and ran for the corner but was caught and knocked on in the tackle, and so the game ended Burnham 15 Minehead 39. All in all a great display from which every one can take great pride, Minehead played with great passion and belief, well done lads.
