Although not showing to much attacking flare, Minehead defended well in the first half, restricting a powerful Wivey side to four unconverted tries. The second half saw a much better display going forward from Minehead, with some good movement through the backs, but resolute defence from Wivey kept them out. Excellent defence from Harry Chinn, Fred Bushell, Josh Purkis, and in particular Jordan Arnold in and around the scrum, kept the score to a respectable 2tries plus 1 conv to 0 in the second half, the conversion being the final kick of the game.
