Age; Must be between 18 and 93….(though any over 93 will be considered) Build; Yes, please have one…we like well shaped players…and yes, round is a shape! Height: Must be able to reach bar level Weight: Feather to Superheavy Sex: Either….all blends will be considered Personality: Must have one, be sociable, be prepared to travel to different countries, like foreign foods and enjoy good company Do you fit these criteria……..then we want to meet you. The Stags have a squad of players that have somehow blended themselves into a strong, competitive, yet very sociable team that can challenge any in their league. With a squad of over 20 players to choose from Captain Paul Francis works minor miracles every Saturday to ensure that everyone gets a game.    Despite having so many in the squad The Stags are always on the look out for new “talent”, whether it be on the pitch or in the bar afterwards. “Training” takes place on Wednesday evenings at 7pm and if you think you’d like to give it a go….just turn up!   You are guaranteed a warm welcome. The Stags respect the ancient tradition of the after match celebration and pride themselves on the social aspect of the game.  For the past 2 years they have toured the Channel Islands, spreading bonhomie and the 3rd XV “smile” everywhere they go.  This years tour is again to a foreign land…..Scotland, visiting the centre of culture that is known as Edinburgh, where many pints of heavy and a few halves will no doubt be imbibed. So, if you’re interested in playing, or would just like to become a Stags Groupie…..come along!! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU !! New years Eve Ad 2009
